You don’t have to pay for placeholders in Forecast, but there’s a limit to the number you can have. All new Forecast accounts have 2 placeholders, and for every 4 people in your account you receive 1 additional Placeholder.

For example: an account with 8 people will have 4 placeholders, and an account with 12 people will have 5 placeholders.
