Closing your account

Closing requires View and Edit permissions.

If you want to cancel your subscription and completely delete the whole account, anyone with View and Edit permission can close it from Settings.

Important information to read before closing a Forecast account

  • Closing the account is for the whole team account, and not just your profile. If you need your profile removed from the account, you can ask a person with View and Edit permissions to archive your profile.
  • Closing your account will immediately and permanently erase your data, so we highly recommend that you export your data before closing the account.

Closing a Forecast account

Once you have read the information in the previous section, have exported any data you may need, and are ready to close the account:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click the Close team account button at the bottom of the page.
  3. Let us know why you’re closing the account, then click the red Yes, permanently close this team account button.

Note that this action takes effect immediately, even if you have time remaining in your billing cycle, so please make sure you and your team are completely done using the account.

How closing your Forecast account affects your Harvest account

If the Forecast account you’re closing is connected to a Harvest account, the Harvest account will be disconnected from Forecast and no longer benefit from the integration features. Your team’s Harvest account will remain active, however, and your team will continue to have access to it.
