Signing in for the first time

To access your team’s Forecast account for the first time, you’ll need to accept an invitation sent by your team via email, even if you’re already on another Forecast or Harvest account.

To accept the invitation and access the account, click the Accept invitation button in the email. When you click the link to join, you’ll be taken to a screen where you can create a password before signing in, or sign in with Google if your company uses Google Workspace or Gmail email addresses. You may also need to enter a two-factor authentication code if your company has a Harvest account with that requirement.

If you don’t see the invitation email in your inbox, or have any trouble accepting the invite, ask someone with View and Edit permissions in your account to resend your invitation, or reach out to our support team so we can help.

Signing in after you’ve accepted the invitation

You can always sign in to your Forecast account from https://id.getharvest.com. If you have a Gmail or Google Workspace email address, you can click the Sign in with Google button. Otherwise, you can enter your email and password and click Sign in. If your company requires two-factor authentication (2FA), you’ll also need to enter your 2FA code.

If you have multiple accounts with us—which may include other Forecast accounts or Harvest accounts—you can then select the account you’d like to access. Once you’re in a specific account, you can switch to a different one by clicking your name at the top right of any page and selecting Switch accounts.

Note: If you belong to multiple accounts, the quickest way to access a specific Forecast account is to bookmark the account’s web address in your preferred browser.

Changing or resetting your password

You can change your password from the Security tab in your Harvest ID profile, which you can access by clicking on your name at the top right corner of Forecast and selecting My profile.

To reset a forgotten password, click the Forgot your password? link at https://id.getharvest.com and enter your Forecast email address. An email with instructions to reset your password will be sent to that address.
