Archiving and deleting clients

Managing clients requires View-Edit permissions.

Archiving clients

Archiving a client will remove them from your clients page. All data remains intact, and you can restore the client at any time.

Note: You cannot archive a client with active projects. You must first archive those projects.

To archive a client:

  1. Head to Manage > Clients.
  2. Click on any client.
  3. Click the Actions dropdown menu.
  4. Select Archive.

You can view archived clients from Manage > Clients > View archived clients.

Restoring clients

To restore an archived client:

  1. Head to Manage > Clients.
  2. Click View archived clients.
  3. Click the Restore button next to the client you’d like to restore.

Deleting clients

Deleting will permanently delete a client and all of their associated data, including all of their projects and related assignments. It is not possible to restore a deleted client or any related data.

To delete a client:

  1. Head to Manage > Clients.
  2. Click on the client you’d like to delete.
  3. Click the Actions menu and select Delete.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm your deletion, then click Delete.
