Track time to Harvest directly from your tasks in Asana.

Enable Harvest Time Tracking in Asana

Within Asana, you can enable Harvest time tracking for yourself, for an entire team in your organization, or for a workspace you belong to.

  1. In Asana, click your profile photo in the top right corner and select My Profile Settings….
  2. Click on the Apps tab of your Asana profile settings, then click Activate to the right of Harvest Time Tracking.

Enable Time Tracking for a Team (in an Organization)

  1. In Asana, hover over the team’s name in the sidebar and click the three dots that appear on the righthand side.
  2. Select Edit Team Settings… from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on the Advanced tab and check the box next to Enable Harvest integration….

Enable Time Tracking for a Workspace

  1. In Asana, click your profile photo in the top right corner and select Workspace Settings….
  2. Click on the Advanced tab and check the box next to Enable Harvest integration… for the workspace in question.

Track Time in Asana

Once time tracking is enabled for some or all of the areas in your Asana account, you can track time from any Asana task in those areas:

  1. Click the timer icon.
  2. A timer window will open. Select a project and task.
  3. Click Start Timer or add a duration or start/end times and click Save.
  4. To stop a timer, click the timer icon again (it will have turned blue). The timer window will open, and you can click Stop Timer.

Disable Harvest Time Tracking in Asana

You can disable Harvest time tracking in Asana at any time.

Disable Time Tracking for Yourself

  1. In Asana, head to My Profile Settings….
  2. Click on the Apps tab of your Asana profile settings, then click Active to the right of Harvest Time Tracking.

  1. In Asana, hover over the team’s name in the sidebar and click the three dots that appear on the righthand side.
