Creating Projects

Creating projects requires View-Edit permissions.

Projects include any work that you’ll complete for a client. They can include anything from planning your next marketing campaign to organizing your next holiday shindig. You can have as many projects as you need. 

Note: If you’re a Harvest user, we suggest you import Projects from Harvest at any time via the Harvest Integration.

To create a project in Forecast:

  1. Head to the Schedule. You’ll be dropped right into the Projects View.
  2. Click the New Project button in the lower left corner.
  3. Enter your project name, client, project code (if you have one), notes, and assign a project tag or color label
  4. Click Save Project.

Note: You can also create projects from your Projects Page. Just head to Manage > Projects. Then click the New Project button.
